Fever and Flabbergasted

Just a quick one. Been sick all day yesterday, today a little bit better, but work, oh god, don't get me started. I feel like I want to quit. I feel better be dead. I'm meeting my department head with my supervisor later. Must be about my absence from work recently... Oh no... They're going in for the kill this time... But anyway, wish me luck... This sucks, ironically it's friday! Until then... Adios Post Edit:  Work is still stressful.  But anyway, my supervisor was busy yesterday, in fact when I thought about it, I think I heard wrong.  You know having a cough and cold, my hearing is a little bit muffled.  But anyhow, although stressful, it's handled nicely, I think.  Hopefully things will go well and as per plan next week.   But I have been thinking and a lot of reflecting, and post-talking to Baby with my personal issues, now, I think I can change.  I know I've been saying that in the past and it didn't materialise, but now, (oh the rain is ge...

Trip Up Trip Down and Again...

Last night, I didn't have any difficulty sleeping.  I think I have told Baby what I have been keeping to myself for a long time.  It's all good.  Continuous communication under open channel is always a good thing, but also it depends on the timing and the delivery.   Baby , sorry if I have upset you okay...?  It's all good, right? Anyway, since everything have been said, I slept well and believe it or not, I woke up quite early and best of all....   NO EFF-ING MIGRAINE!!!  It's like, I have lift a cloud of fear or some sort of fuzziness in life and everything seems a little brighter, a little breezier, a little better and life is much more bearable. I was not a person who believes that talking solves anything.  I believed that hiding my thoughts behind a really convincing facade helps.  I did not believe in confrontation.  I did not believe in being honest.  All of that, is the criteria of a bullshitter.  And yes, I'm the world's best and believable bullshitt...

Overheated

I woke up to a migraine. A mild one. For the last couple of nights, I couldn't sleep. I have issues at this moment in time, it's personal so I couldn't share it with you. So, I woke up, I reach for the ibuprofen and went back to bed. I eventually woke up at about 10 a.m. and went to do my morning ritual as usual. I took my sweet time to work, because I don't want to rush. When I arrived to work, there were no parking space at all, as I was driving really slow trying to hunt for parking space, my car stalled. I tried to start it again, and I saw the temperature indicator of my car was at the red zone. Luckily there were no one behind me, I waited for a minute and started it again, it revved. And the pointer was just under the red zone. So I drove out of the car park and waited for traffic to pass, which was never ending.... And it stalled again. Arrrggghhh, I was so frustrated. So I waited a minute or so, and it came back, so I did a quick stunt trying to g...

Work Week Begins...

Enjoying my three day holiday (which will end in an hour's time) by taking lots of photos and outings, today was spent wallowing in my room, contemplating whether to go out.  It was quite hot outside and it's so nice and pleasant being in my cold air-conditioned room.  I have plenty of things planned out, but I was enjoying my holiday too much to even bothering to wake up. Finally at about noon, I took the energy to get up of bed and slump back on the sofa to watch some TV.  At about 2 p.m., hunger strikes.  So I went to Foodzone Kiulap Branch to grab some food.  And with the new Tobacco Act, I couldn't smoke there.  It's so disappointing. As a smoker, myself, I feel like I'm being treated like second-hand citizen.  That's my personal view about it.  By this, first and foremost, I would like to clear something, about myself, that is.  I've always, always been a considerate and responsible smoker.  Do not ever compare me to the average smokers that smokes whe...

Photography Overload

It seems that I have overloaded my blog with pictures and more pictures of Redz , my forced model, he's demanding payment now! LOL - Just kidding...   So this time, although I have more pictures to post, I have decided to  write for now.  I will post more pictures of today's photography outing in Shahbandar Forest Reserve  in my next post.  I've managed to take many macro (that's close up) pictures.  And since Redz is out on photography, there will not be any portraiture - LOL. Since we hung out late at DeFountain on Saturday and ate Nasi Katok  at 2 am, and watch TV until 4 am.  I was totally wiped out.  I stayed a night at Redz's house, and when he woke up, I went back home to continue sleeping.   Redz and Corey was on the prowl to find a photography opportunity at Tasek Merimbun, apparently there is a cultural festival there.  But they woke up relatively late too and was still tired, they decided to hang out somewhere with few friends for lunch.  I slept un...

Saturday's Unplanned Photo Shoot!

Image
Since we hung out in Bandar till nearly 4 am (Saturday), I woke up quite late.   I did nothing but loiter around the house and made myself some noodle  Mi Sedap (Mee Sambal) with baby clams.  I suddenly felt the urge for a nice mug of teh tarik to go with the food that I managed to scoff down.  One of the best teh tarik that I quite can recommend to anyone and everyone is at Andaman Restaurant and Cafe at Jalan Jangsak .  It's a quiet place just across the heavy traffic road.  They had a beautiful tent sitting outside.  The food is quite good and at a relatively nice price tag.  Try and have a visit.  I don't get any commission for this, okay..... I called up my mentor, Corey and Redz and told them to bring their camera along for a critique session, which ended up as an outing.  We didn't plan to do a photography outing, I only brought my camera along, because I finally got my lens filter from QQeStore and wanted to borrow Corey's compressed air and felt tip pen to ...

Late Hangout in Bandar

Image
The photo shoot out didn't end at the park.  I forced Redz to come out again that same night to bandar to get the hang of it.  He did take many beautiful pictures, to view them, he put them in his  blog .  Feel free to visit... So I took some with him, at about midnight I did a walk about alone to the newly built jetty beautified by a sculpture and a small square.  It didn't turn out well.  It is still so postcard-ish as one avid reader had commented.  By which he/she is totally spot on right.  But anyway, more comments appreciated and hope to get more comments from readers. My attempt to portrait No!  It's mine!  Oreo Cheese Cake is always a favourite. No smoking starting first of June.  Sad, I am. My solo night walk about around Bandar starts here. These floating/glowing/multi colour balls is just mesmerising The details on the railings are exquisite.  It nicely lit too! The sculpture changes colour too! It's such a beautiful night, the former Royal Custom and Excise...
