Busy and Bored

Somehow, I'm not feeling it today. Perhaps it was the anti-climax that my friend Amir had just reminded me that today is Wednesday. I actually am dreading Thursday, I have a kick-off meeting which I am totally not looking forward to. (I want to get it over and done with!) I thought today is Thursday. (Perhaps, Amir had just realised that I am far from the weekend than I expected! - he he)

The office seems a little colder and quieter. Despite with the walls being taken down, all I can hear is the occasional phone calls being answered, the continuous keyboard tapping, and the same ol' MP3 songs that my colleague is playing on his desktop.

I keep repeating in my mind that boredom is just a state of mind and that I can change it. But, I wish I could. I'm tired of looking at excel spreadsheets all morning and afternoon. It's bloody clerical. (Calm down, calm down!)

Okey, let's divert this energy to a positive one. This friday is our departmental End of Year Party. It's ironic considering it's the beginning of a new one.

Pro: It will be fun.
Con: I have to find a Chinese costume! Sigh!

Oh by the way... I have a new laptop now. Thank to Redz who manage to persuade the shop to close a little late and Amir with his skillful driving, despite that 'regretful' and 'unnecessary' manouver. But seriously, it was exhiliarating. Naughty but fun! (Te he he... When you get the GTR - Don't forget me!)

I managed to get to the shop in time and Redz also thought everything out for me. Redz and I have the same brain, and we share it! He thought of everything, and when I got there is to put my signature in and Voila! the laptop is mine! I haven't tried and played with it yet. It spent the whole night charging the batteries. So today, I will be playing with my new HP Pavillion Tablet, and learning how to use Windows Vista. (Apparently, its a little Apple Mac-ish). I'm not tech kindda guy. I'm afraid, I'm a little technologically challanged!

Wow, I've written quite a few eh? (I must be that bored). Until then... Adios!

I'm half angry and half sulking with my OH . Sometimes my OH have this ability to make me feel needy and clingy. Sometimes I feel that I'm always the one giving and giving, thus making me feel just like that. It is as if, I'm holding all my cards out for everyone to see for the sake of love. And I'm only making a great fool of myself. Where does that fine line starts or stop? Where would you draw the line from doing something for someone your love and doing anything and everything for someone you love? As days go by, sometimes I feel I'm doing the latter. I'm only writing my frustration here, not to belittle my beloved OH , I just need to release this anger that I am having at the moment. So what was this all about? Tak Ada Yang Abadi (Nothing that is Forever)

You may have realised that I've changed my imeem song on this blog. It's from the latest track by PeterPan (An indonesian band) with the title "Tak Ada Yang Abadi" (Translation: Nothing that is Forever; better translated as Nothing lasts Forever). I downloaded this song from a CD album that ironically "E" left in my car system. I am not usually the kind of guy who listens to malay songs, not that I have anything against them, it's just not the norm for me. But when I do, I only play songs that I am familiar with, and skip the rest. When I was offshore, I downloaded the album in my iPod and set the iPod on shuffle and just listen to whatever the iPod decided to play. That is when I heard this song for the first time.
