New Year, New Beginnings

*punch*punch* "Tumbuk Toni! Tumbuk Toni! Tumbuk!" ("Punch Toni! Punch Toni! Punch!") *punch*punch*


That was what I was doing at the countdown to 2008. We were engross playing on Wii that Aedy and Azim brought to our New Year party celebration. It was hilarious. Toni who is the most graceful one of the group, trying hard to punch. But he managed to knock 'me' out once.

Other games brought was Pictionary (which we didn't play, everybody was exhausted from laughing and screaming) and Taboo(which ended the night).

Simply put. 2008 came in a punch. Literally. I had a blast. I had a brilliant time. I had fantastic fun.

The host was Dreamweaver. I was the chief BBQ chef for the night. Whilst everyone was bringing more food. Redz did the marinate for the chicken and lamb. He basically prepared everything which I was supposed to do. Which makes me mad. I was actually really looking forward to make the marinate and preparing the chicken and lamb. He did it all, when I was fast asleep. But nevertheless, I'm greatful and thank him.

During the BBQ itself, I've got my helpers, which I truly truly appreciate. They were really helpful with the BBQ pit.

Kayoy, brought plenty of candles, and decorated the front yard, and it looks very Deepavali-ish. But it gives the atmosphere a very serene feeling.

Random Rant, Update?

I don't know why. Here I am at 2.34am drinking left over "teh tarik" from today's open house at my parents. And decided all of a sudden that I wanna write something on my long abandoned blog. I have been clicking on the links that I have at the left side of my blog and it seems that most people have already abandoned their blog, by either cancelling them or not updating them.  I suppose it seems that writing a blog is no longer appealing and cool to some.  There are some that are still strong writing their rants. I am merely speculating, that now media is so easily discover-able that people are afraid to be on the accidental spotlight.  There have been few instances that blogs got discovered by their thoughts and suddenly everyone hates the writer.  And perhaps, again speculating that people are afraid to really say what is on their mind.  Naming and shaming is kindda "in" thing.  Especially with the freedom people can do with Whatsapp.  Just link it, yo

Happy Birthday to Me Warning: This will be a long read. There are a lot of things in my mind which I wanted to express. Today is my birthday, and now I am three decades old. Time has travelled so fast in front of my eyes. And today, I look back my life and reflect my past. And will also discuss my years to come, insyaallah. First and Foremost, on the eve of my birthday was the Sixty Second DJ competition which ran align with the best 914. Best 914 is a singing contest where the contestants are selected from a radio show which they called in and sang with a minus one song. And now, yesterday they sang really really well and they sounded like professional singers. It's amazing that they are just singers who just sang along in the radio, for some they have been into a few singing contest. Then it was our turn. Tolerances and Compromises

I'm half angry and half sulking with my OH . Sometimes my OH have this ability to make me feel needy and clingy. Sometimes I feel that I'm always the one giving and giving, thus making me feel just like that. It is as if, I'm holding all my cards out for everyone to see for the sake of love. And I'm only making a great fool of myself. Where does that fine line starts or stop? Where would you draw the line from doing something for someone your love and doing anything and everything for someone you love? As days go by, sometimes I feel I'm doing the latter. I'm only writing my frustration here, not to belittle my beloved OH , I just need to release this anger that I am having at the moment. So what was this all about?
