Join the Club

Yesterday, after work, I made a detour to JPMC gym before heading home. When I arrived there, I felt a little embarrassed and intimidated to even exit my car. I guess everybody would have those kind of feeling when venturing in a new place or crowd. I finally took the courage to get out of the car, after calling my baby, baby just told me to just go for it, since I am there already. So I thought, yeah, I'm here and might as well...

So as I entered the JPMC gym, I was 'escorted' by three buffed up men. I assume they were going to the gym to work out. But since I was exactly behind them. I felt like being escorted. They were walking a little slow and.... oh I'm digressing...

So anyway, again, I arrived welcomed by a cute Lil' chic, and only said "Yes? Keys?" I told them that I'd like to join and she raised an eyebrow, and started to unfold the leaflet by the counter, I asked her if I could wonder around, and she told me that she'll gave me a tour. After about half hour tour, I told her, alright, I will join. She gave me few optional packages available. And after some deliberations, I decided to might as well fork out $600 for a year's package, she also told me, I'd get a free full medical check up on my birthday. Fantastic I thought! So I'm in!

I will start in May, as I am still on antibiotics and I don't think I would want to run on the treadmill with my runny nose. Fitness, here I come... Forking out that amount of money, will be my motivation to regularly use the gym. I must say when I arrived there, I felt a little intimidated by the muscular men and fit ladies. But it is nice to see... and... erm, never mind. He-he...

Today, at work was a little slow, I am going back early to the city to attend a meeting. The meeting is with my contractor and my estate manager regarding my house. I have been waiting for this meeting since almost 4 months now. The progress is really really slow. But at the same time, my life have kept me quite busy. So I wasn't really pushing for it. But I think now the momentum is there, I might as make use of it. I am hungry, thinking of having lunch. I might go before driving an hour away back.

Baby and I, recently went to the 'communist' shop, the ever famous widely available and accepted pirated CD/VCD/DVD shop and bought few CDs for my listening pleasure in the car, since I spent 3 hours per weekday in it. And am loving the new 'Marcell' CD... I wish I have vocals like him. Right now, running on my work PC is the 'Aliff Aziz' and many of his songs are quite good.

I know some people do not support pirated CDs. Well, I'm not a supporter, I just buy because it is widely available. It is up to your life principals say. But well, it's something I would talk about in my later post. I don't buy DVDs though, I watch the latest through the cinema. So does that count? What is your thoughts about it? Okey, time is against me, will post another, catch ya later amigos!

One more day to go for the weekend.... ahhh...
