Saturday Sushi

The weekend before, I was sick and spoiled my friends' 'Juara Lagu' night, because they ended up sending me to the hospital, so I made up to them by treating them sushi.

After going through some waiting, we finally got our seat. Indeed it was a good night. Its also my sort of my version of 'doa selamat' for giving thanks to Mighty Allah for restoring my health.

Am I trippin'?

KL.  Check.  Bangkok.  Check. I will be on a trip.  Away from all of this , when I come back onshore.  I need a break.  I need a relaxation, thus this shall be my getaway. It will be my first time traveling to KL using a budget airline.  Obviously I'm going on a budget.  I'm building a home too soon, so must cut cost down as much as possible.  And my tickets to Bangkok too has been booked, not on a budget airline, purely because there isn't a budget airline route there.   It's daunting somehow.  I don't know why.  This trip feels a little different than I'm used to.  Somehow.  But I'm excited at the same time.  Mixed emotions, I must say.  It also has been a while since I last went to KL.  I suppose it's almost two years ago.  Oh, I'm also going to Kemaman, Terengganu to Aidee's hometown.  We'll be spending a few days in KL too.   Aidee has been raving about Kenyir Lake, the largest lake in West Malaysia.  He said he hasn't been there...

Random Rant, Update?

I don't know why. Here I am at 2.34am drinking left over "teh tarik" from today's open house at my parents. And decided all of a sudden that I wanna write something on my long abandoned blog. I have been clicking on the links that I have at the left side of my blog and it seems that most people have already abandoned their blog, by either cancelling them or not updating them.  I suppose it seems that writing a blog is no longer appealing and cool to some.  There are some that are still strong writing their rants. I am merely speculating, that now media is so easily discover-able that people are afraid to be on the accidental spotlight.  There have been few instances that blogs got discovered by their thoughts and suddenly everyone hates the writer.  And perhaps, again speculating that people are afraid to really say what is on their mind.  Naming and shaming is kindda "in" thing.  Especially with the freedom people can do with Whatsapp.  Just link ...
