Migraine Attack
Yesterday, I had a migraine attack. Don't you just hate when that happens? Time to keep my ibuprofen handy at all time...
I woke up at 3pm. Still with a mild migraine. I only woke up because I was awfully hungry. Made Maggie Mee and watched some TV. My housemate arrived from work with his brother and children. My housemate was trying to set up the router for the espeed. Finally it's already done. We can surf the internet or blog, in my case, in my own comfort of my duvet.
This morning, I woke up relatively early, after snoozing my alarm clock and my mobiles for a couple of times, I finally woke up at 6am. When I was in the shower, I started coughing blood, my tonsils is probably acting up again. I have cut down on my ciggies and even don't finish my ciggy most of the time. My throat didn't sting or anything, and when I blow my runny nose, there was some blood in it too. This is not the first time I cough or blow blood out of my respiratory system. But I suppose, I will need to eventually stop smoking. Some people don't get it, why some people smoke.
Disclaimer first :I am a considerate smoker, with the presence of (certain) friends and children, I move away to smoke. I know that people do take care of themselves, and I understand that I should move away.
But to me, and this applies to me only, my excuse for smoking is for stress. Yes, it is not a way to relieve stress but it is my way of relief. Another excuse is for my social life. I get to know many people via smoking. Really good people. Exciting people sometimes. Especially when I am offshore. At times, when people smoke, a lot of exciting stories will be told, people who smoke have the tendancy to be much more at ease, much more relaxed.
Notice that I put there excuse. It is not me trying to reason with you. It's my excuse. My excuse for smoking. Smoking, I know, has no justification in consideration with my health. Thus, why it is just an excuse.
My fitness level is way down under my par. No, not just because of my smoking, but because I have not done any fitness exercise for the past few weeks. So today, since my car pool mate is back, and a few friends are coming down for netball, I don't have any excuses not to play netball. I will start gym soon too. I've paid $600 for it, so I might just as well. With sauna and swimming pool at my disposal, that will do!
Anyway, better get back to work... Till then, Adios!
