First Photography Session with Uber Dream

Today, after going through a rigid, science revision by Uber Dream throughout the whole morning (over delicious Murtabak and Teh Tarik), we finally got into the practical bit of the science of light i.e. photography in the afternoon...

It was a session overdue, and today we finally managed to have a field trip to Pantai Seri Kenangan (Seri Kenangan Beach) in Tutong to give my new Canon 450D a test.  This is my first SLR camera, my first trip and even, the first time I took the camera out of the house.  So please bear in mind that I'm still quite the novice in taking pictures.  I took hundreds of pictures which in the end, these are the top six pictures that I considered okay to publish...

Also, our special thanks to Redz for being the model of the day...  He didn't demand any payment and if he did, it would be gracefully ignored...  I'd appreciate any comments for fellow photographers although, please be gentle with me...  I've got a long way to learn to be at least an amateur.  Also if so happen, the man who was paragliding that fine afternoon at the beach, Uber Dream and I would like to extend our high appreciation for giving us the chance to shoot (take picture ah!) him.  Uber Dream managed to get fantastic pictures of him, paragliding.  As for me, I was a little too slow...  Enjoy the pictures...

So that was it, will post some more, if I had time to downsize them using photoshop.  None of the pictures are edited.  Only made some image resizing and text for copyright purposes...  This will develop as we go along...  Until then, Adios Amigos!

Random Rant, Update?

I don't know why. Here I am at 2.34am drinking left over "teh tarik" from today's open house at my parents. And decided all of a sudden that I wanna write something on my long abandoned blog. I have been clicking on the links that I have at the left side of my blog and it seems that most people have already abandoned their blog, by either cancelling them or not updating them.  I suppose it seems that writing a blog is no longer appealing and cool to some.  There are some that are still strong writing their rants. Happy Birthday to Me Warning: This will be a long read. There are a lot of things in my mind which I wanted to express. Today is my birthday, and now I am three decades old. Time has travelled so fast in front of my eyes. And today, I look back my life and reflect my past. And will also discuss my years to come, insyaallah. First and Foremost, on the eve of my birthday was the Sixty Second DJ competition which ran align with the best 914. Best 914 is a singing contest where the contestants are selected from a radio show which they called in and sang with a minus one song. And now, yesterday they sang really really well and they sounded like professional singers. It's amazing that they are just singers who just sang along in the radio, for some they have been into a few singing contest. Then it was our turn. Tolerances and Compromises

I'm half angry and half sulking with my OH . Sometimes my OH have this ability to make me feel needy and clingy. Sometimes I feel that I'm always the one giving and giving, thus making me feel just like that. It is as if, I'm holding all my cards out for everyone to see for the sake of love. And I'm only making a great fool of myself. Where does that fine line starts or stop? Where would you draw the line from doing something for someone your love and doing anything and everything for someone you love? As days go by, sometimes I feel I'm doing the latter. I'm only writing my frustration here, not to belittle my beloved OH , I just need to release this anger that I am having at the moment. So what was this all about?
