Workshop Day

I texted my absence to my boss on Tuesday because of my migraine. He mention that my migraine is getting in the way of the job. And I need to get it checked out.

So, today, instead of going straight to the office, I went to Panaga Health Centre to get myself checked out. The doctor gave me some migraleave. He told me to pop in these pink tablets before the headache start to develop, otherwise it is useless and just take ibuprofen instead. He also mention that it might or might not work, it's a hit or miss thing with most people, he also gave me something for my cough.

After that, I went to BSRC where a workshop is being held, I am supposed to attend it. It was a good workshop, I didn't contribute much but I tried to help as much as I can, besides, seriously I'm not feeling that all well yesterday.

I had lunch with a long time friend, who I went to college with, Adnan. But before that, I made an appointment with a lady who is interested in buying my motorbike. She seems interested. So I'm reserving it for her. Finally about 1230hrs, we finished negotiating and she said she'll be in touch. Lunch was relatively quick, and before we knew it, we were already on our way back to the workshop.

That morning I also made plans with my 'brother', Sulaiman, we've got a transportation discussion. They will be going for a holiday to KL in June. So need to get few things sorted out. But I tried calling him, but he didn't answer, so I told him that I'll go to HQ in the afternoon and so I did. It was great talking to my 'brother'. He makes me feel better just by listening. He's a great listener and advisor. I feel a load off my shoulder talking to him.

I went back straight home after meeting him. I planned to come back for the workshop, but the workshop ended sooner than I expected.

Since I arrived home early, I decided to run. A run way overdue. I ran about 6.5 kms for 40 minutes, I walked some more to cool down for about 1 km. It felt good. With my trusty iPod Nano and my Polar heart strap and watch, I managed to burn about 800+ calories. I forget how much I love running.

I lived with endorphin high all evening. After the run, showered and went to pick up our newest photography member, Redz to look for a good entry level SLR camera. Redz has always been a avid photographer and since I'm on the learning curve, he would love to get his hands on an SLR camera, since also he could afford it now. We went to Hua Ho Manggis, because they had a good package on the same Canon camera as mine (Canon 450D). This model has made good reviews all throughout, it's the best entry level camera that you can grow with, and could bring you many years and develop yourself, if one wants to go pro.

We had dinner with Corey at SnS (Sweet n Savoury), Beribi. If you want good food guaranteed, this is the place to go to. Seriously, the food are consistent every visit. Delicious all the time. SERIOUSLY! Then it's the usual hangout at DeFountain Cafe. By this time, my endorphin level has receded and I was feeling very tired and started to ache. So by 1130 pm I was already home and bed bound. I slept immediately which is rare occasion. I woke up to a sore body and a fever. I took my sweetest time, because every movement aches. But hello to hard rock abs, yeah right, I wish calves. My calves looks good, it's been quite saggy recently and with yesterday's run, it looks nice. I must admit, my best feature in my body are my calves.

Now I am at work. I know I shouldn't. But I suppose I have to because nobody understands my situation at the moment. I'm too well known as the office slacker by default. So, regardless of my health, I have to go. Besides, today is netball day. I want to play, I have to play because the tournament is a week away. I don't want to disappoint my team mates.

My current condition, I blame myself. Serves me right. I'm aching everywhere now. And I've already cut down my smoking too (mostly because I'm too tired to go downstairs to the smoking area). Heard rumours that the price of cigarettes are going to increase up to 100-150%...

Until then, I too tired to think and type, so I will excuse myself... I going to lay my head down now... Take care and Adios.

I understand how you must feel about going to work feeling unwell. Bosses are sometimes like that, they don't give a damn whether you're in "slightly shivering condition", my boss whenever my migraine attacks just advises me to take Panadol or other pain reliever. And my " pain reliever" is REST.

I hope you get better soon,I've been anticipating for your "portraiture".I know its worth the wait. :)

Do take care Kellaz and gimme, gimme more!!! (update that is :D)
